Verde Garden Design are a team of talented garden designers, planting specialists and landscape gardeners.
We love designing gardens of all styles – contemporary or traditional, family or business. We work with homeowners, architects, designers and developers across Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex.
We’re fantastic garden designers because we love what we do. We know how watching a garden’s subtle colours change over the seasons is a real delight – and we want you to share in the joy of creating something wonderful!
Annie Chapman
My unique perspective comes from 20 years of design experience (following a BA (hons) in Interior Design) combined with ten years as a garden designer. My eye for design and my passion for horticulture mean I understand how the inside/outside relationship needs to work to balance your lifestyle: looking at the colours and textures in your home can inspire ideas for your garden and enhance the transition from one to the other. I also have extensive on-site experience of working with contractors, so I can do much to ensure projects are managed smoothly and completed on time, and within budget.
Helene Young
With a background in theatre design and stage management, I bring a unique 3D vision to garden design. I include all five senses – sound, touch and taste as well as sight and smell – and I love using fruit, vegetable and herb-related plants that add interest and look amazing. My approach is fresh, funky and contemporary. If a garden is designed around you, you’ll be drawn out there: you can’t resist!
Karen Llewelyn
I’m a plantaholic landscape gardener, and for 20 years I’ve been mad about looking after plants, choosing the right varieties and putting them in the best positions. I know how to help plants survive and thrive, and I can provide ongoing aftercare so gardens stay looking their best. You might just want advice, an annual pruning session or a full maintenance contract. My favourite plants? Hostas and Alliums!
